Mapiinic S.A. of the Simplemente Madera Group

Simplemente Madera Group Ltd. and its Affiliates, Agro-Forestal S.A., MAPIINIC S.A., Exchange S.A. and Tropical Hardwoods International Ltd. ("SMG"), comprise a vertically integrated hardwood timber growing, processing, product manufacturing and sales enterprise. With headquarters in Managua, Nicaragua, SMG has developed expertise in a broad range of disciplines, which are used in the companies' own businesses and offered to others on a consulting and project basis.

SMG's forestry management has been awarded international certification by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), following an intense assessment of its operation by the Rainforest Alliance's SmartWood?Program, an accredited certifier for the FSC.

Currently, with over 7, 000 mt2, including administration buildings, production, kiln, and storage areas, Mapiinic S.A. is able to produce nearly 600, 000 BF of profiled wood, kiln dried per month. The company is also able to process some 45,000 m3 of lumber per year.

Leche Maria or Manni/Chewstick (SYMPHONIA GLOBULIFERA)
Nanciton or Sudaran (HYERONIMA ALCHORNEOIDES and HYERONIMA LAXIFLORA)
Santa Maria or Jacareuba (CALOPHYLLUM BRASILIENSE)
Tamarindo or Jutahy (DIALIUM GUIANENSE).

Other species can be sold but are limited due to availability.
