Great Lakes Global Energy, LLC is seeking long term relationships with parties interested in purchasing large quantities of utility hardwood pellets. A new high volume wood pellet manufacturing facility is currently being built to produce 100, 000 tons of utility wood pellets per year. The pellets are made from Northern Lower Michigan hardwood. The pellets will comply with all European and USA standards for these types of pellets.

Through a mutually beneficial agreement, we can supply your wood pellets requirements without interruption. Great Lakes Global Energy is strategically located in the heart of an abundant and sustainable hardwood forest. We firmly believe in securing our raw materials from sustainable sources and to reinforce this commitment we adhere to an established sustainability policy. Our harvest purchase contract requires our suppliers to comply with and provide information that guarantees these principles are being met. Our hardwood is procured through our Certified Forest Manager and harvested according to sustainable forest management (SFM) standards and guidelines. The abundance of these forest assets in the Northern Lower Michigan will provide enough fiber to produce a quality wood pellet for decades without the deterioration of the health and sustainability of those assets. Our utility hardwood pellet meets or exceeds the standards for a utility pellet as established by the Pellet Fuel Institute and the European DIN 51731 and ?Norm M-7135. Only the white wood of hardwood assets go into our pellet. Sampling of quality is utilized and certified during our production assuring the quality shipped to our supply partner is consistent.
