China's softwood log prices rise
slightly |
China's softwood log stocks increased to 3 million cubic metres during the Chinese Lunar New Year holidays. Since the holidays, the Chinese market has been gradually recovering, but at the end of February log use was still below 10,000 cubic metres per day. This means that there are still two months' worth of softwood logs in stock. China's A-grade pine log sales prices remained stable in February, with a slight increase in the US$128-132 range. |
