Sappi Europe said that it will increase prices for its Packaging & Speciality products effective on deliveries from June 2024.

"This increase is necessary to maintain the viability of Sappi's business, the actual amount will depend on the product group," Sappi said in a press statement.

Price increases are as follows:

Flexible Packaging - 15%
Release Liner (CCK & Glassine) - 15%
Label Papers - 10%
Sappi noted that its European sales team will be in further contact directly with customers to discuss the details of the implementation.

Sappi is a leading global provider of everyday materials made from wood fibre-based renewable resources. Sappi produces 5.5 million tons of paper, 2.6 million tons of paper pulp, 1.5 million tons of dissolving pulp per year.
