The purchase aims to bolster Hartville's construction materials business. Ohio-based Hartville Hardware & Lumber has acquired nearby Coshocton Lumber Company. According the Hartville, the purchase is a move toward enhancing the company's position in the construction materials market. Coshocton Lumber, according to Hartville, has built a strong reputation for carrying high-quality building materials and providing trusted hardware home center brands to contractors, builders and homeowners in Coshocton and its surrounding communities. ¡°We are excited to welcome Coshocton Lumber to the Hartville Hardware family,¡± said Scott Sommers, president of Hartville Hardware.
