to Return |
Furniture.com, an Internet-only retailer which went bankrupt 18 months ago as the dot-com boom ended, may be returning soon. Technology news Web site CNET News.com reported on April 15 that new owners plan to bring the company back. The original incarnation of the company attempted to warehouse inventory on its own, but often shipped products later than promised. The new Furniture.com will partner with Levitz Home Furnishings to warehouse and deliver its product. Levitz operates a pair of furniture retail chains: Levitz Furniture and Seaman Furniture.
