Specification: Tropical hardwood of the family Dipterocarpaceae. Very hard and durable, with Janka hardness index of 2075, which is harder than Teak, and very similar in characteristics to Teak but at a lower cost compared to Teak. Suitable for all kinds of construction, outdoor decking and heavy-duty furniture making because of its excellent strength and weather resistant qualities. Texture is very fine and even. The color of heartwood is grey brown to dark brown.
