Nzango Forest Co-operative Society is only 2 years old and we are into hardwood logging like,KIAAT or MUKWA,ROOSEWOOD,TEAK for RAILWAY SLEEPERS,EBONY and AFRICAN MOHAGANY to name but afew.
The company has mostly been doing local business and is searching for a break into the international market through exports to a reliable hardwood importer and partiner.So far the Society has felled enough number of logs that we are going to count just after the rain season comes to an end and we resume work.Our main obstacle is the luck of our own Tractor,though the trailer is ours we have to hire the horse in order to haul the logs to the road side for transportation to the city for marketing.We have the potential to produce any amount of cubic metres of hardwood when a contract is entered into with a serious importer from any country. |
